Forests and light - inspired by a recent visit to the Arvo Pärt Centre in Estonia. With two iconic Pärt recordings from ECM - 1984’s Tabula Rasa (Gidon Kremer, Keith Jarrett, Tatjana Grindenko, Alfred Schnittke, Lithuanian Chamber Orchestra) and 2025’s And I Heard A Voice (Vox Clamantis), and new music from Laura Cannell and Kayla Painter, and the sounds of forests.

Marking the 100 year anniversary since the birth of Morton Feldman with some of Antti Tolvi’s 72-minute performance of Intermissions 6, interspersed with extracts of live sets by Nii Noi Norty and Agathe Max, and Irene Murphy’s FOUND by chance by Quiet Music Ensemble.

Returning to the work of Éliane Radigue in ASYMPTOTE VERSATILE, the new release of one of her earliest works, recently premiered at HCMF and produced by Rhodri Davies. Alongside an almost infinite canon built on Baude Cordier’s Tout par compas suy composes, plus Wadada Leo Smith and Vijay Iyer’s Procession: Defiant Life.

A space for improvised, electronic and experimental musicFree entry (optional suggested donation of €10)Joanna Mattrey will play a swarthy solo set on viola and stroh violin that promises to be equal parts lush and harsh, drawing on her ‘irreverent’ approach to string playing.After several years’ hiatus from performing since the birth of her daughter, vocalist & composer Laura Hyland will share three new pieces (originally composed a capella while tending to domestic chores) with her long-standing collaborators, Judith Ring (vox, cello) & Carolyn Goodwin (vox, woodwinds).Sebastian Adams will do some improvisation with viola + radios.INK (Anna Murray) will present a set of live painting-controlled electronics INK paints sound with movement, improvising with lines, gestures and textures in an evolving drone soundscape

Anna MurrayKathryn Vetter is a clarinetist based in New York City whose work centers around contemporary classical music and creating new works for clarinet and bass clarinet. She is a founding member of Sputter Box, a clarinet, voice, percussion trio, and Nu Quintet.Anna Murray is a composer and artist based in Ireland, with an interest in improvised sound spaces, conceptually-driven pieces and graphic and other alternative scoring.Sebastian Adams is an Irish composer, performer and artistic director with a broad practice currently centring on conceptual music and creative coding.
